About The Lift Network

Inspired by its rich history of innovation, entrepreneurship, and fortitude, the South Bend - Elkhart Region has taken the bold step to scale and formalize the regional innovation ecosystem with the launch of the Labs for Industry Futures and Transformation (LIFT) Network. Initiated by a catalytic grant from the Lilly Endowment, the South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership and the University of Notre Dame have partnered to create this collection of cutting edge facilities, expertise, and training programs.

The LIFT Network will enhance skill attainment, research, commercialization, and entrepreneurship across the South Bend - Elkhart Region. Building on strengths in manufacturing and higher education, the LIFT Network will equip the region’s industries and residents for the future of innovation.
